LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Authorities released the name of a motorcyclist who was killed after being ejected from his bike.
The Clark County Coroner's office did not, though, release a cause of death for 26-year-old Jacob David Polusen.
According to Las Vegas Metro police, Poulsen was attempting to change lanes on Ann Road near Blooming Street about 1:45 a.m.
The bike changed from a right to left lane when it struck the rear of a Honda Accord in the process, police said.
Metro said the motorcyclist was ejected from the bike as a result.
Poulsen died at the scene. The driver of the Accord was not injured, police said.
Metro said the incident marked the 27th traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas area this year.
The collision remains under investigation.
