University of Nevada, Las Vegas is looking to use momentum from its 16-point win in their opening game in the Mountain West Men's Basketball tourney on Friday against Colorado State.
The Runnin' Rebels tilt with the Rams in the second of two semifinal games is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. at the Thomas and Mack Center.
UNLV split the season series with Colorado State and are actually 2-1 all-time against the Rams in the history of the tournament. The Runnin' Rebels beat CSU, 61-59, at home on Feb. 20.
Freshman forward Anthony Bennett led UNLV with a 23-point game in propelling the team to a 72-56 win on Wednesday against Air Force Academy.
University of New Mexico and San Diego State University play in the other semifinal also taking place Friday at Thomas and Mack Center.
