NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -
Officers of the North Las Vegas Police Department are hitting the streets Friday in an effort to keep people safe.
They'll be at intersections across North Las Vegas from noon to 9 p.m.
The initiative is part of a statewide campaign called "Joining Forces."
Officers will be looking for drivers who fail to yield to pedestrians, as well as drivers who do not obey traffic signals or posted speed limits.
