LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Four people – two adults, one teen and a child – are without a home following a fire Thursday evening in their two-story home on the west side of the valley.
Las Vegas firefighters arrived at the house on Ocean Port Drive, near Fort Apache and W. Desert Inn roads, before 6 p.m. Fire was visible, and smoke was billowing.
Las Vegas Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Tim Szymanski said one person was taken to a hospital after jumping out of a window. The teen is being treated for injuries.
Investigators estimate the damage at $150,000. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
