LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
While you probably identify hockey players with "hockey hair," a variation of the mullet, nine of the Las Vegas Wranglers are now skating sans hair.
The team raised more than $20,000 to help the St. Baldrick's Foundation in its battle to end childhood cancers.
Players, front-office staff and Head Coach Ryan Mougenel participated in the six-week fundraiser, shaving their heads on Sunday following the team's matinee game.
Fans even got their heads shaved during intermissions.
The Wranglers are currently in the midst of a seven-game road stretch. They'll return to Orleans Arena on Tuesday, March 19 for a 7:05 p.m. game with the Bakersfield Condors.
