LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Two schools in the northeast end of the Las Vegas valley were placed on lockdown Tuesday amid nearby police activity.
Las Vegas Metro police confirmed the activity near N. Pecos Road and E. Alexander Road about 3 p.m.
Police did not specify the cause of the activity.
The two schools placed on lockdown, according to authorities, were Clyde C. Cox and Gwendolyn Wooley elementary schools. Those lockdowns were lifted before 4 p.m.
