LaunchSmart hosted a successful direct selling symposium on February 21st through the 22nd, this year. The Direct Selling Symposium is organized by LaunchSmart and a team of strategic partners of direct sales consultants and MLM consultants. The symposium brings together LaunchSmart’s team and partners with startup multi-level marketing, usually known as MLM, companies. The symposium focused on recruiting salespeople for the startup company, incentivizing compensation plans, diversifying products, legal pitfalls to avoid, effective shipping and distribution plans, and many more.
Tamara Foster, an attendee of the previous symposium, stated, “It’s a one stop shop, from beginning to end. I’m leaving here realizing exactly who I need to contact and what I need to do to launch our business forward. It was well worth my money and my time.”
LaunchSmart’s Direct Selling Symposium was built around a growing need for startup companies to have a workshop taught by experienced direct sales consultants and MLM consultants that truly understood the challenged unique to MLM companies. The Direct Selling Symposium focused on the practical difficulties of starting an MLM company. According to research 82% of MLM startup companies fail within the first year. This makes starting a company offering a great product very risky. Keeping that in mind, LaunchSmart helps growing businesses avoid the common failures that so many companies fall into.
In addition to the Direct Selling Symposium, LaunchSmart also offers direct consultation through their LaunchSmart Total Success System and direct sales consultants and MLM consultants. The system contains four steps: 1) Assess – Learn what it takes and whether or not the business concept is feasible; 2) Plan – Get a game plan together, including documentation for potential investors; 3) Training and tools – Learn the best practices required for success , and attain the tools needed to implement the best practices; 4) Coaching and support – Experienced experts directly help the startup as it launches.
In addition to the LaunchSmart Total Success System, Launch offers a free complimentary business assessment and consultation. Incorporating the first step of the Total Success System, the free assessment and consultation allows a startup company to have direct access to the LaunchSmart system to then decide for themselves if the Total Success System is a good fit for their company.
LaunchSmart is located out of Idaho and hosts the Direct Selling Symposium in Salt Lake City. Currently, LaunchSmart is preparing to host another symposium later in 2013.
