LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Las Vegas Strip shooting suspect Ammar Harris was arrested on Thursday afternoon in North Hollywood, CA, by a fugitive task force comprised of Los Angeles police officers and FBI agents.

KTTV, the FOX affiliate for Los Angeles, reported Harris was arrested in a corner apartment unit. According to KTTV, the woman who was in the apartment with Harris is being questioned and could face charges if it's found she was harboring Harris. She is not facing charges at this time, however.

Police had been surveilling the apartment since receiving a tip last weekend. Police said Harris surrendered without incident.

A reporter for KTTV spoke with a neighbor who lives in the apartment below the unit in which Harris was holed. That neighbor said that on the night before the arrest, she approached the occupants of the apartment to complain about loud music.

The neighbor said that the woman who answered the door appeared to be "out of it." The music wasn't lowered so the neighbor went back upstairs to complain again. This time a man answered the door. The neighbor said she believes it was Harris and that he appeared nervous. Again, the music wasn't lowered.

The following morning, the neighbor looked outside to see police activity. When she inquired about what was going on, police informed her they had arrested Harris.
