LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

There is confusion over pictures Las Vegas Metro sent out concerning a person of interest in last week's shooting and resultant wreck on the Las Vegas Strip.

Police said Tineesha Howard, also known as Yenesis Alfonzo, was their person of interest. They said they believed she was in the black Range Rover with shooting suspect Ammar Harris when shots were fired and that she could still be with Harris.

However, police sent the media pictures of Harris with reality television star Tasha Malek, who said she was not in Las Vegas at the time and hasn't had contact with Harris for years.

Malek's attorney told CNN that she did know Harris years ago when they both lived in Miami.

The pictures depicting Malek have since been removed from Metro's website. The department has not commented on the photos, however.

On Wednesday night, police said they no longer consider Howard a person of interest in the case and that she is not considered a missing person. Police gave no reason for the reversal.
