LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

An armed bandit posed as a customer when he held up a store west of McCarran Airport last month.

According to Las Vegas Metro police, the suspect entered a convenience market in the area of Russell Road and Arville Street about 12:30 a.m. on Jan. 27.

After selecting an item, police said, the man approached the clerk, pointed a silver handgun and demanded "all the money".

The man took the money and fled, according to Metro.

Police described the suspect as a white man, 30-40 years old, 6'2" and 220-225 pounds. He was wearing black overalls and a black beanie cab.

Police said the suspect may also be involved in other robberies in the southwest part of the Las Vegas valley, often seen wearing a camouflage jacket.

Police urge anyone with information on the suspect to contact Metro's Robbery Section at 702-828-3591 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
