The city of North Las Vegas has a couple of road closures planned going into the weekend.

The ongoing North 5th Street Bridge project will affect Interstate 15 lanes between Lake Mead Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue, from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. The closures go in to effect from Tuesday through Thursday.

The city noted at least one lane in each direction will remain open at all times.

In addition, Lake Mead Boulevard will be closed between I-15 and Losee Road, beginning at 9 p.m. on March 1.

Lanes will reopen at 5 a.m. on March 4.

Drivers can expect those same lanes to close the following weekend, from 9 p.m. on March 8 to 5 a.m. on March 11.

The city advised motorists to use Martin Luther King Boulevard, Carey Avenue and North 5th Street as alternate routes.
