LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Those who may be helping a suspect in the Las Vegas Strip shooting are subject to arrest, Las Vegas Metro police warned Monday.
The police department issued the warning as part of a news conference updating the progress of the search for Ammar Harris.
"Currently, we are using our entire Homicide Bureau and all resources in our agency as well as looking toward and using resources outside our agency," Metro's Capt. Chris Jones said.
Harris, 26, was identified as the suspected gunman who fired at a Maserati from a moving Range Rover during the early morning of Feb. 21. Police said the SUV was located at Harris' condominium complex on Flamingo Road.
Harris remains at large, police said Monday.
"To anyone who is aware of his location or who is assisting Ammar Harris in any way, you will be arrested and prosecuted," Jones said.
Despite reports of multiple people in the Range Rover at the time of the shooting, Metro affirmed "with certainty" Harris pulled the trigger that killed 27-year-old Ken Cherry Jr.
The news conference also included Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson, who said an arrest warrant has been issued for Harris.
"If Mr. Harris is listening, I urge him to surrender and make himself available to the criminal justice system where he will be afforded all the rights that anybody would be afforded," Wolfson said.
Earlier Monday, the Clark County Coroner's Office ruled homicide for the deaths of Cherry and two others in a wrecked taxi cab - Michael Boldon, 62, and Sandra Sutton-Wasmund, 48.
