LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a mini-van in southwest Las Vegas, authorities said Monday.
Nevada Highway Patrol reported the collision on Blue Diamond Road and Edmond Street, west of Decatur Boulevard, about 8:45 a.m.
NHP did not disclose whether the victim was in a crosswalk at the time. Troopers also did not say if the victim was a man or a woman.
Authorities expect to close the intersection for several hours during an investigation.
