MOHAVE VALLEY, AZ (FOX5) -
A fugitive sought in Las Vegas for a domestic violence warrant was arrested Thursday in northwest Arizona.
The Mohave County Sheriff's office said Darryl David Markham, 22, was taken into custody also on a felony drug possession charge.
According to the sheriff's office, dispatchers were advised by Las Vegas Metro police of the Mohave Valley resident's warrant for domestic violence, strangulation.
Just after 11:30 a.m., deputies arrested Markham at his home without incident, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies found a plastic bag which tested positive for methamphetamine. Markham told deputies he found the bag while cleaning his mother's vehicle, according to the sheriff's office.
He was booked into the Mohave County II Substation Jail.
