Anthony Tyron Mayo (NLVPD)NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Anthony Tyron Mayo, 37, of North Las Vegas in connection with an alleged attack that claimed the life of his wife, Beverly McFarlane, 40.
McFarlane was attacked on Aug. 8, 2012, sustaining injuries to her head, neck and abdomen. She was taken to UMC Trauma where she died on Aug. 23.
Two children, ages 5 and 9, were home at the time of the attack. They were removed from the home by child protective services. Mayo fled the home following the alleged attack.
Mayo is described as 5'11", 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Police said he has family in southern California and may be in San Diego, Palmdale or Los Angeles.
