Pop crooner Bruno Mars, who has had a mixed history in Las Vegas, announced Wednesday his return to Sin City on his "Moonshine Jungle" tour.
According to the tour's website, Mars, whose real name is Peter Hernandez, will take the stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Aug. 3. His supporting act for the concert is the band Fitz & The Tantrums.
A ticket sale date was not yet released for the Las Vegas date.
The best-selling pop act kicks off a North American tour on June 22 to support his latest album, Unorthodox Jukebox. The album has already produced radio hit "Locked Out of Heaven".
Mars returns to Las Vegas, where he was arrested on drug possession charges in 2010. He took a plea deal in the case and was sentenced to probation, community service and ordered to undergo drug counseling.
