LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The new Wet ‘n' Wild water park set to open in May announced Wednesday it is expected to hire at least 300 seasonal positions.

The water park located at 7055 South Fort Apache Road opened online applications to the public at its website – wetnwildlasvegas.com.

Positions up for hire include lifeguards, admissions, guest services, emergency medical technicians, maintenance, food and beverage and security. The park also noted several supervisory positions will be open among those fields.

The positions are not year-round, the park said.

The water park said once applications are received, select applicants will be contacted for an interview and hiring fair over the next several months.

"We're looking for enthusiastic people to join the Wet 'n' Wild Las Vegas team as we gear up for the first of what will be many fun seasons in Las Vegas," said Takuya Ohki, Wet 'n' Wild Las Vegas general manager.

Applicants are required to be at least 16 years of age. The applications can be found under "Employment" at the Wet ‘N' Wild website.

The park is set for open on Memorial Day.
