LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
The Clark County Coroner's office released the name of a 26-year-old pedestrian who died after being struck by a vehicle outside of a marked crosswalk.
James Spagnoli, Jr., of Las Vegas, died of multiple blunt force trauma as a result of the accident, the coroner's office ruled.
According to Las Vegas Metro police, Spagnoli was crossing Flamingo Road west of Riley Street about 7:14 p.m. on Feb. 16.
Spagnoli was crossing the eastbound lanes when he was struck by a 2006 Ford Freestar, police said.
Spagnoli was transported to University Medical Center Trauma, where he later died of his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle – 33-year-old Eddie Grace – was not injured in the incident.
