Flagstaff police investigate how man was injured

FLAGSTAFF, AZ (CBS5) -

Flagstaff police are trying to determine how a 44-year-old man discovered in the parking lot of Coconino Community College suffered serious injuries.

The man, whose name was not released, was found at about 5 a.m. Monday.

Officers said they were able to talk with the man's family but they, too, couldn't provide anything substantial.

Police said the man's injuries are consistent with blunt force trauma.

Officers said they will try to talk to the man in the coming days to see if he can provide any details as to what happened.

No other information is available.
