Injured hiker rescued from Red Rock Canyon

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A Metro Search and Rescue team managed to located a hiker who fell Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. near Hamlet Wall located inside Calico Basin.

The victim was airlifted to safety before being transported to UMC via ambulance. His injuries are not life-threatening.

The circumstances surrounding the fall have not yet been released.
