The Las Vegas Wranglers are on fire, and goaltender Joe Fallon and forward Andrew Sarauer are big part of that success.
On Tuesday, Sarauer was named Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week while Fallon was named Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week.
This marks the first time since 2010 that the Wranglers have had a Player and Goaltender of the Week award at the same time.
Sarauer notched five goals and 10 points last week to keep the Wranglers' seven-game winning streak alive. On Wednesday, Feb. 6, the 6'4", 205-pound forward recorded his first hat trick of the season in a 5-0 victory over the San Francisco Bulls.
Fallon has won his last six starts, dating back to Wednesday, Jan. 30. He currently boasts a 1.95 goals-against average and a 0.938 save percentage.
Fallon on Feb. 4 made 40 saves against the Colorado Eagles and 31 saves on Feb. 8 against the Bakersfield Condors.
The Wranglers will next square off with the Utah Grizzles in a road game on Feb. 13 before returning to Orleans Area for two games with the Idaho Steelheads beginning on Friday, Feb. 15.
