The football program at University of Nevada, Las Vegas learned which schools it will host during a four-year rotation under the new 12-team, two-division Mountain West.
For the 2013 season, the Rebels face University of Hawaii, San Diego State, San Jose State and Utah State at Sam Boyd Stadium. The team will go on the road to face Air Force, Fresno State, University of Nevada, Reno and University of New Mexico.
According to UNLV, the scheduling was computer generated and it consists of five intra-divisional games and three cross-divisional contests a year. UNLV is placed in the West Division. The other division is the Mountain Division.
In 2014, the matchups remain the same as the previous year but the home teams are reversed.
Each school will play four home and four road conference games each season, and will play every Mountain West opponent both home and away during each four-year cycle.
The Rebels are also slated to host University of Arizona on Sept. 7; Western Illinois on Sept. 21; and Central Michigan on Sept. 28. The team opens the season at the University of Minnesota on Aug. 29.
