Comedian, magician hosting book drive for Nevada Reading Week

To help kick off Nevada Reading Week starting on Feb. 27, join comedian-magician Mac King as he embarks on Mac King's Magical Literacy Tour.

Donate three or more new or gently used children's book at any of the locations below to receive a pair of tickets to The Mac King Comedy Magic Show and special offers from their host venue.

Las Vegas Wranglers Book Drive

Donate three or more new or gently used children's books to:

• Receive a pair of tickets to the Mac King Comedy Magic Show
• Be entered into a raffle to win autographed Las Vegas Wranglers merchandise (Limit one pair of show tickets and one raffle ticket per person. Must be present to win. Winners will be announced towards the end of the game.)

Donate three or more new or gently used children's books at this location to receive:

• A pair of tickets to the Mac King Comedy Magic Show
• A one-hour free jump pass to Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park (Limit one per person. Jump pass may be used on the same day, subject to availability of jump time.)

For three days beginning Feb. 27 and going through March 1, during Nevada Reading Week, King will make appearances at three local elementary schools to teach the importance of reading.

King will perform magic tricks and read a few short stories and every student at the schools will receive a book from The Public Education Foundation's Clark County READS initiative.

Additionally, he'll deliver books collected from the book drives to be donated to teachers' classroom libraries.
