Fat Tuesday cookie sale to benefit Red Cross

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

For many, Fat Tuesday is the annual feast before the fast, and what's a fatter feast than a cookie party?

Freed's Bakery at 9815 S. Eastern Ave. near Silverado Ranch is offering discounts on Fat Tuesday signature cookies with proceeds benefiting the American Red Cross – Southern Nevada Chapter.

All day on Tuesday, you'll be able to feast on butter cookies dipped in gold, green or purple crystallized sugar for just $9.95 per pound.
