LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Surveillance photos were released Monday of a man suspected of holding up a store near downtown Las Vegas last month.
Las Vegas Metro police said a black man in his 40s was lingering in the convenience store about 10:10 a.m. on Jan. 29.
According to police, the man who pretended to be a patron waited until other customers left to walk behind the cashier counter and pull a gun on an employee.
He demanded money and threatened to shoot the worker, police said.
After the employee complied, the suspect fled.
Police described the suspect as 6 feet in height with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and light blue jeans.
Police urge anyone with information on the suspect to contact Metro's Robbery Section at 702-828-3591 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
