Families in the Las Vegas neighborhood where murder suspect Christopher Dorner has a house are on edge.

FBI agents raided the home near Fort Apache Road and Wigwam Avenue on Thursday. On Friday, agents said no one was inside and that a long search of the house turned up no weapons or threatening materials.

Despite the relief, many in the neighborhood are worried about what the ex-police officer's next move could be.

A sign on a house near Dorner's reads, "Please do not ring the doorbell. We have no comment." It's evidence of the stress neighbors have endured since authorities brought the investigation to their street.

"He (Dorner) was out by his truck, and I honked the horn and asked him, ‘What are you up to? What are you doing?' He seemed kind of antsy. He said, ‘I will be over in a bit.' That was the last time I saw him," neighbor Lexi Gibson said.

Gibson lives next door to Dorner's house and said she last saw him a little over two weeks ago. She said she spent time with him on several occasions and described him as a "loner who liked to ramble."

"He wouldn't talk about himself at all. That's why it was really fishy. Only stories of when he was in the army and stuff like that," Gibson said.

In Dorner's online manifesto, he claims he was a commanding officer at Naval Air Station Fallon in western Nevada. Dorner also expressed anger with Las Vegas' court system, though it is unclear what prompted it.

Gibson said she is relieved that the manhunt for Dorner is focused on southern California and is hoping he is captured.

"It just makes me wonder, who do you let in your house? Who do you trust? It's almost like you think you know someone but you really don't," she said.

Another neighbor FOX5 spoke with said she will be staying elsewhere until the situation is resolved.
