Power restored after outage in northwest Vegas

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Equipment failure was the cause for an overnight power outage in northwest Las Vegas Friday.

NV Energy reported the outage to about 13,000 customers in the area of Buffalo Drive and Cheyenne Avenue at 3:30 a.m.

Power was fully restored by about 5 a.m.
