Hold on, Las Vegas. A record-breaking roller coaster is speeding into the Adventuredome at Circus Circus.
El Loco roller coasters are famous for their steep drops and unique twists and turns. Cars feature an open design meant to give riders a feeling of flying during the 75-second ride. There are only five other El Locos in the world.
Vice president of operations for the Adventuredome Tom Nolan believes the new ride will give locals and visitors to Las Vegas an exciting opportunity.
"The addition of El Loco to The Adventuredome is a significant move in our efforts to entice a new generation of roller coaster lovers," he said.
Construction on the new El Loco roller coaster is set to begin in the coming weeks, and is expected to be completed this December.
