PHOENIX (CBS5) -

After three days on the stand, Jodi Arias, the woman accused of killing her ex-lover, will have a break from testimony on Thursday.

A judge announced on Tuesday afternoon that court would not be in session on Thursday. There is an evidentiary hearing that is closed to the public and the media.

The trial is expected to resume on Monday, Feb. 11.

Arias' ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander, was brutally murdered at his Mesa home in 2008.

Arias first told police that she didn't know what happened to Alexander, then later told police that two people broke into his house and killed him while she was staying there. Lastly, she told police she killed Alexander in self-defense.

Arias went into great detail Wednesday about how she started to feel used by her on-again, off-again boyfriend, who she said wanted her only for sex.

During her testimony, Arias continued to portray Alexander as an aggressive lover who manipulated their relationship through sex and religion.
