One of two people found slain at an apartment complex near the Las Vegas Strip died of a gunshot wound to the upper body, the Clark County Coroner's office ruled.
Donnie Deon Cobb, 40, was identified as one of the people found dead in an incident on Feb. 3. Cobb died as a result of a homicide, the coroner's office said.
He and another person were found in an apartment in the 2100 block of S. Paradise Road, according to Las Vegas Metro police.
Officers were called to the complex just off E. Sahara Avenue and east of the Las Vegas Strip on reported gunshots in the area.
Detectives were still seeking a suspect in the incident. Police said a black man was seen leaving the area just after the shots were heard.
The coroner's office did not disclose the identity and cause of death of a woman who was also found slain in the apartment.
Police urge anyone with information on the crime to contact Metro's Homicide Section at 702-828-3521 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
