A 53-year-old pedestrian was identified Monday after being struck and killed in a hit-and-run incident over the weekend.
Lawrence Lancaster was identified as the person who died on Sunday, according to the Clark County Coroner's office.
Las Vegas Metro police said Lancaster was killed on Sahara Avenue, east of Tam Drive, just after 1:30 a.m.
According to police, Lancaster was walking in the north sidewalk of Sahara when he fell or laid down in the right most westbound lane.
Police said a westbound 2000s model gray sedan struck Lancaster and failed to stop.
