Shoe charity to benefit from Miracle Mile donations

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A southern Nevada nonprofit organization that puts shoes on underprivileged kids will benefit from donations made at Miracle Mile Shops in February.

The shopping plaza that hugs Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip said change tossed into its water fountain will go towards Goodie Two Shoes Foundation. The fundraising drive will run throughout the month.

Miracle Mile Shops also said more than 400 kids were slated to be outfitted with shoes on Friday by management volunteers.

Goodie Two Shoes Foundation has provided shoes and socks to more than 30,000 children in the Las Vegas valley for the last 10 years.
