Motorcyclist hurt in northwest Vegas

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Police believe a motorcyclist may have been involved in an accident when he was found unresponsive near a Las Vegas intersection.

Las Vegas Metro police reported a motorcycle on the ground near W. Cheyenne Avenue and N. Rainbow Boulevard about 11:45 a.m. Friday.

The motorcyclist was transported to Summerlin Hospital, where his condition was not disclosed.

Police said the bike may have fallen on top of the motorcyclist. There were no other vehicles involved, according to police.

There were no road closures as a result of the accident, but traffic delays were expected.
