MOHAVE VALLEY, AZ (FOX5) -
A woman claimed her boyfriend held a gun to her head and hit her during a domestic violence call in northwest Arizona.
According to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office, 27-year-old Joe Gullotto IV was charged with unlawful imprisonment, aggravated assault and drug possession in connection to the alleged domestic incident on Wednesday.
Deputies said they were called to a home where a woman reported having a gun against her head and being struck in the face by her boyfriend. According to deputies, she said her boyfriend blocked the door while attempting to leave her home.
A witness also told deputies the woman had been hit by Gullotto, the sheriff's office said.
Gullotto was arrested and booked into the Mohave County Substation Jail. During a search of Gullotto, deputies also found a plastic baggie containing methamphetamine and a .45 caliber pistol.
