The Art Institute of Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Metro Police Department are teaming up to host the third Annual Kids Food Festival at Whitney Recreation Center On Friday Feb. 1 at 5:30 p.m.
The annual police-sponsored event offers underprivileged children and their families a nutritious meal prepared by chef instructors and students of The Art Institute of Las Vegas.
Lead by Chef Claude Cevasco, the volunteer team will create a menu to feed more than 50 local kids.
As per tradition the entire LVMPD squad will also stop by to greet the kids and their families, and more than 10 Boy Scouts of America will be on hand to help out with the serving.
Families interested in attending future dinner events and volunteers wishing to help may call 702-427-9207.
