NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -
A pedestrian was sent to the hospital after being struck by a motorcyclist in North Las Vegas Friday.
North Las Vegas police reported the incident about 1:45 a.m. in the 2000 block of W. Lake Mead Boulevard.
According to police, a 69-year-old man was crossing Lake Mead in a crosswalk when he struck by the 22-year-old motorcycle rider.
The pedestrian was transported to University Medical Center Trauma with life-threatening injuries.
NLVPD said the motorcyclist was cited for no registration, no license and failure to yield to a pedestrian. Police also believe speed was a factor and drugs or alcohol did not play a factor in the incident.
