NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -

Two separate traffic wrecks in North Las Vegas has blocked or backed up traffic during the Friday morning commute.

FOX5's Chris Brown reported one wreck on southbound Interstate 15 at Lake Mead Boulevard about 6:30 a.m.

Brown reported slow traffic between Lake Mead and Washington Avenue, with back-ups stretching to Cheyenne Avenue.

The wreck blocked the two left lanes of the interstate, Brown reported. There was no word of injuries as a result of this incident.

Brown suggested taking surface streets to get around the back-up.

Another wreck in North Las Vegas, though, resulted in injuries.

Brown reported the rollover incident near Civic Center Drive and Lake Mead Boulevard before 6:30 a.m.

There was no exact word on how many vehicles were involved or the number of people injured.

Authorities said the intersection was blocked following the incident.
