Members of the Culinary Union 226 picketed outside a Las Vegas Strip property Thursday, claiming a lack of progress in a contract negotiations.
The union said workers at the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino are still trying to work out issues on wages and benefits.
After 18 months, they say, there has been no progress and no agreement on healthcare costs, wages and work place language.
The union said a fair contract reflecting with the "Las Vegas standard" is needed.
In a statement, a Cosmopolitan spokesperson said, "We understand the union's right to picket. The Cosmopolitan has been negotiating in good faith and will continue to do so."
