LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A 76-year-old Las Vegas man was identified as the person who died following a fire in the south end of the Las Vegas valley.

The Clark County Coroner's office, though, did not disclose John Raymond Wilson's cause of death.

He was one of two people who required medical attention after a house fire in the 7000 block of Abbeyville Drive, near Interstate 215 and Warm Springs Road, about 12:25 p.m. Monday.

Clark County Fire Department said crews had to cut away the roll-up garage door to access the home.

The condition on a woman who also evacuated was not known.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.

Fire was estimated at $40,000, CCFD said.
