LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A 77-year-old man died on Friday afternoon, possibly in a wreck at a Las Vegas apartment complex.

Police said that just after noon, the man was driving in the parking lot of the Palermo apartment complex on Harmon Avenue when his Toyota Camry struck a parked car before careening into a support structure for a carport cover.

The man was taken to Spring Valley Hospital where he was pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported.

Police aren't sure if the man died as a result of the crash or suffered an unknown medical episode. The coroner will identify the man and determine his cause of death in the coming days.
