Bar on Vegas Strip seeking dancing 'Coyotes'

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A country bar on the Las Vegas Strip is looking for fleet-footed women to be a part of the next generation of "Coyotes".

Coyote Ugly Bar & Dance Saloon will hold live auditions at its location at New York-New York Hotel and Casino on Jan. 28-31, from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Those who think they can dance atop the saloon's famed bar can apply before Jan. 27 at www.angelmg.com/coyotegirls or at Coyote Ugly in-person.

Coyote Ugly said qualified applicants will be invited to the first round of auditions, when hopefuls must dance to three songs on the bar.

Those who get through to the second round of auditions in February will be able to showcase their personality and talent for 30 minutes. Both rounds will be in front of a live audience, the bar said.

The final round includes learning a choreographed number and performing it in front of three judges and experienced "Coyotes".

The southern-style saloon has been in business since 2001 at the Strip property. Its "Coyotes" are described by the bar as entertainment hostesses who perform stunts nightly, such as fire-blowing and country clogging.
