KINGMAN, AZ (FOX5) -
An armed dispute between neighbors in Kingman, Arizona led an ex-convict and a woman to be arrested Wednesday.
Glen Oliver White, 60, and Melinda Louise Pedigo, 47, were booked into the Mohave County Jail after a reported incident with White's neighbor, the county sheriff's office said.
According to deputies, the neighbor flagged authorities down outside his home and told them White pointed a gun at him. He also told deputies Pedigo punched him.
The Mohave County Sheriff's office said deputies spoke with White who was sitting in his vehicle in front of his home.
When asked about a weapon, he denied having a gun, deputies said. White allowed them to search his vehicle, where a weapon was found.
Deputies also said a glass veil that contained methamphetamine was also found on White, who turned out to have a prior felony conviction.
The woman – Pedigo – was also questioned by deputies. Pedigo told deputies she attempted to hit the neighbor but didn't connect, according to the sheriff's office.
Both were arrested without incident.
Pedigo was charged with misdemeanor assault. White was charged on felony counts of aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon; possession of a weapon by a prohibited person; possession of a prohibited weapon; and possession of dangerous drugs.
