GLENDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

Glendale police said they've safely located a 68-year-old man diagnosed with dementia who was missing since Wednesday afternoon.

Wilfrido Moncayo-Cisneros was dropped off at a Walmart at 95th Avenue and Camelback Road about noon as part of a routine where he hangs out at the store and a nearby Dollar Store before returning home on foot just before dinner, according to police.

The stores are a short distance away from the residence where he lives with family members.

Police said he was found Thursday afternoon in the city of Phoenix. He was slightly dehydrated but in good condition, according to police.

He is back now back with family.
