Vegas mayor rolling out red carpet for Prince Harry's return

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman wants to roll out the red carpet for Prince Harry now that he ended his recent military tour in Afghanistan.

According to TMZ.com, Goodman is inviting the royal back to town despite the shaky circumstances of his previous visit.

Although Prince Harry graced the tabloids in the buff, Goodman says he's welcome here anytime.

"When he was here everyone was talking about [the bare naked incident]," Goodman told TMZ.

TMZ reported the naked billiards scandal from last year generated $23 million in free publicity for the town.

The Prince Harry scandal, in which he was photographed during a game of strip billiards, also inspired a tongue-in-cheek advertising campaign by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry recently spoke on the incident, saying it was a classic case of him being "too much army and not enough prince."

In an interview with BBC, Harry said he let himself and his family down but asserted he expected "a certain amount of privacy" over events like this.

What do you think? Should Prince Harry return to Las Vegas? Should the city push this hard to welcome the royal back?
