PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A vacant Phoenix house suffered extensive damage after a fire late Monday night.

No one lived in the house at 28 E. Southgate Ave., which was almost fully involved when crews arrived about 10:50 p.m., according to Capt. P.J. Dean of the Phoenix Fire Department.

The cause of the fire had not been determined and the investigation was being continued, Dean said.

No other information was immediately available.
