PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Arizona Department of Public Safety officers were scouring an area for a man possibly dressed in body armor who fled on foot into a neighborhood after a traffic stop.

Officers said the suspect was seen about 6 a.m. after the car he was in was pulled over for speeding near Pioneer Road and Gavilan Peak Parkway near the community of Anthem.

A woman in the car was detained and a home invasion "kit" was found in the car, officers said. The car was loaded onto a tow truck and taken to impound and traffic was not impacted.

No other information was immediately available.
