Pet Pals: 'Nani' is looking for hero

Posted: Updated:
LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

This week's Pet Pal is a amazing boy named Nani.

Nani, which means "beautiful" in Hawaiian, is a 5 year old Japanese Chin.

He needs a hero because he is blind in both eyes, so they need to keep him away from stairways, swimming pools, and other dangers in the home and yard. But he doesn't let his handicap stop him from having fun, NSPCA reps say all he wants to do is play.

A gentle home is best for Nani, ideally with another dog for companionship and guidance.

If you're interested in adopting Nani or any of the other pets at the Nevada SPCA, you can visit its No-Kill Animal Sanctuary at 4800 W. Dewey Drive in Las Vegas.

You can also call 702-873-SPCA (7722)
