Mobile home catches fire in northeast Vegas

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A fire gutted a double-wide mobile home that served as an office for a Las Vegas trailer park.

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue reported the fire at the Villa de Oro mobile home park in the 4500 block of E. Owens Avenue, near Lamb Boulevard, at 6:54 a.m.

There was no one inside the mobile home and there were no injuries, LVFR said.

Officials said an attached garage was destroyed while the inside of the mobile home was gutted.

Damage was estimated at $50,000. An investigation into the cause of the fire was under way.
