University of Nevada, Las Vegas garnered a top 20 ranking for the best online graduate nursing programs in the United States.
The school announced its No. 18 out of 101 ranking from the 2013 U.S. News and World Report.
UNLV said the publication determined the ranking by examining areas including admissions selectivity, faculty credentials and training, student engagement and accreditation and student services technology.
"Our efforts help students from around the country to receive individualized attention with highly qualified faculty members, allowing them to connect personally and strengthening their connection to the school," said Carolyn Yucha, dean of the School of Nursing. "UNLV's office of online education works diligently to ensure that our faculty and students are embracing the future of online learning."
According to the school, the Master of Science in Nursing program is offered in two tracks: family nurse practitioner and nurse educator.
The program and all of its classes are offered only online, UNLV said.
