Law enforcement officers arrested a man in Las Vegas who was wanted for a slaying outside of a nightclub in Los Angeles.
According to TMZ.com, Robert Earl Thomas III was arrested in connection to a shooting that took place on Tuesday outside Empire nightclub.
TMZ said a photographer recorded a gunman shooting at least two people, one of them fatally.
Records from Clark County Detention Center had the 22-year-old Thomas' booking date as Jan. 17. He was due for a 72-hour hearing on Jan. 22 on a charge listed as "arrest fugitive from another state on complaint/warrant".
The TMZ report said police received tips from a number of people who saw the incident. Thomas was captured without incident while hiding at a friend's residence in Las Vegas, TMZ reported.
